- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Let me be clear: I'm NOT saying Monnett's work, the surgery, was malpractice or negligent. I'm saying his eye center's administrative and operational procedure(s) is and was negligent in their follow through. After cataract surgery in late August and early September I received the WRONG prescription for my eye glasses. A script I had to live with until I discovered the reason for continuing blurriness and double vision. They left out the prism correction in my script. That’s two and a half months of VISUAL HELL and angst since I live and work on line reading and writing, and then they charge me for a re-exam. With no apologies from anyone at any time when I came in for that re-exam on Dec. 15, 2014 they ordered new lenses. I was told they would be ready on Friday, Dec. 19. They closed at noon, no one called me. It is Dec. 22, 2014, I called this a.m., they are closed until Dec. 29, 2014.June 18, 2017by John Robichaud
